    Library Check-out Procedures

    1.  Return books to library after Rise and Roar.
    2.  Pick up shelf marker.
    3.  After finding books, line up at circulation desk.
    4.  Have bar codes and library numbers ready.
    5.  Return shelf marker.
    6.  Sit quietly and read or return to class.

Procedures by Grade Level

  • Pre-Kindergarten

    Students visit the library second semester for read aloud time.

    *Parents may come in during open checkout times and

    check out a book with their child.

     

    Kindergarten

    Students visit the library once a week. One book may be

    checked out to leave in the classroom. New books can be

    checked out when previous books are returned.

    *Parents may come in during open checkout times and check out a book with their child.

     

    First Grade

    Students visit the library once a week with their class. Students may only have one book checked out at a time. Students may also checkout books during small group time.

     

    Second Grade

    Second and third grade students may have two books checked out at a time. Fourth and fifth grade students may check out three books.  Classes visit once per week. Students may also come throughout the day during open checkout times.
